Years ago I used to be interested in math, and I started collecting books. Of course these things are available in libraries. old math books

Shown in the picture are two very old but very classic books: 1. Watson's treatise on Bessel functions - this is incredibly interesting stuff. 2. Hobson's book on spherical and ellipsiodal harmonics. Harmonic theory and special functions are two of my old interests. I am not as well read as the library might imply, but I am always trying to improve my knowledge.

Some items pertaining to mathematics are listed on this page. This does not represent all interests, capabilities, and areas where work has been done. Items are not in any particular order. Items shown below are in various stages of development. Some need updates and fixes, and some are in near final form.

Some items items on this page are practice papers where mathematics can be applied to new and old problems allowing computer codes to be developed, and some are not. In other words, the links represent a variety of kinds of work in various stages of development.

In year 2006 I did some study of almost periodic functions. Some notes may appear at this location in the future.
Some practical analysis of photographic optics is given.
Some notes on operational calculus are given here. This includes Laplace transforms.
Some notes on Bessel functions are given here.
Ramamurthi fractions plus related Ramanujan work is given. Work here was done around 2003.
Kalman filtering work was done around 1978.
Some work on Sterling's formula has been done in 2005.
Some old work on Legendre polynomial curve fitting was done around 1975. More recent Mathematica calculations verify this result.
Harmonic functions is one approach to solving partial differential equations in two dimensions. It uses methods from complex variable theory. This study was done around 2005.
Some analytic and numerical exploration work on partial differential equations has been done. More items are probably going to be added here. Some additional work and research is here.
