Around 2004 George Schils began doing some basic explorations of classical PDE's. Theory was reviewed and studied, some new material was mastered, and some numerical evaluations and simulations were performed for learning and practice. Further details are given in the links referenced below.

This web page contains information pertaining to some partial differential equation (PDE) work done.

Introductory discussion and sample solutions for the wave equation. This contains basic exploratory work along with numerical solutions of some equations.
The one dimensional wave equation is solved via analytic means and numerical solutions are given.
