Game Day Red in early October

Football Saturdays on State Street are an event to see. When there is a home game, “everyone” dresses in the “go Badgers” traditional red, and the streams of red on State Street are a nice sight to see. It can be a bit party like, and also a bit fun and festive. Happily, the Badgers won 28 – 38. Some pictures try to tell some of the story.

People are all in red.

This is a crowded spot. There is lots of celebrating here. I could hardly pass on the other side of the sidewalk.

Here I am avoiding the crowds by going through the construction tunnel. (The construction on lower State St. is another topic.)

There was a momentary lull in the crowds.
