It seems that the city workers did a better than usual job of decorating State Street with flowers this last summer.
The flowers and planters seemed to be especially beautiful this year, the summer of 2013.
I am blogging this post in the cold of winter where we just got through evening temperatures of about -20 with wind chills of -40 to -50. Maybe this makes me just miss the steaming hot and humid days of summer, which is when these planter shots were snapped.
