Winter Capitol Photos
Here are two photographs of the State Capitol in winter.
Autumn colors on the Capitol Square
Autumn on the Capitol Square in mid October
The area near the state Capitol is always beautiful in autumn. Some pictures try to tell the story.
Saturday farmer’s market
Last Saturday’s farmer’s market was in nearly full session and is always a joy to attend. Many incredible foods and other things are both on display and for sale. Further the “fm” is held outside the periphery of the State Capitol, and flowers and protestors are also part of it.
It is the time of season where tulips are the flower of choice.
It was well attended. There was a larger crowd than this picture shows.
Buds in spring 2013
The change of season is always kind of nice. The buds are just starting to come out. These shots were taken over the last week or two.
Hey Bud – Bud light
The buds in spring are quite nice. It is always a bit of a thrill for me to see the green come out in spring, and to see nature get ready for “another round”. The buds are just coming out, and that is why I call this “bud light”.
This series of photos shows green buds in spring near the capitol and down State Street.
State Capitol in April
The State Capitol is pretty any time of the year. Here it is early spring and the leaves and buds are not out yet. This is a good time to photograph the Capitol since it is not obscured by trees and leaves.
Tulips in front of the State Capitol in spring 2009
The State Capitol is pretty in spring. It is actually pretty throughout the year. Here are two nice shots of the pretty tulips decorating the Square.
