Someone really dropped their phone. The person said that this was one bad drop (and that it was).
It has been a while since I have seen a phone that banged up.

I walk by lots of people eating attractive and tasty food.
These dishes are all being eaten outdoors in those quaint little street side cafes.
The change of season is always kind of nice. The buds are just starting to come out. These shots were taken over the last week or two.
The first farmer’s market is always kind of exciting, and it occurred just last Saturday (April 20). There was a better turnout than I expected and also considering the cold weather of around 35 degrees. There was lots of nice merchandise. Madison’s farmer’s market is one of the best in the nation.
This fellow, Rich, proudly wears his veterans cap. He served in Vietnam and flew over 400 bombing missions. His cap makes a strong statement. It is too bad that more people do not appreciate the contributions and sacrifices that these brave people made.
Some of my previous posts have discussed yerba mate. It is a neat food to experiment with. I find myself using it to make teas, and it can be put into almost any food. Sometimes I put it into vegetable dishes. Here in the photos below, I am putting it into Campbell’s soups. First I have added 2 tbsp. of yerba mate (with stems) to chicken noodle soup.
And the picture below shows yerba mate in Campbell’s tomato soup.
I had both of these soups together and it made a nice meal. The total of 4 tbsp. of yerba mate is a healthy addition that has many excellent health benefits.
This photo was taken at the Cars on State show of classic cars.
These cars were on display on Madison’s State Street on June 2, 2012. It is interesting seeing the many old classic cars.
State Street is a mecca of photographic opportunity. The European style street cafes present a variety of nice images that reflect on the lifestyle. I show a few such images below.
I snapped some photos of vegetables at the June 9 farmer’s market. There are lots of photo opportunities here, and this is one of the nicest farmer’s markets in the nation.
