WORT block party 2016

The block party sponsored by local community radio station WORT was held once again.

This is a yearly event that has gone on for many years. It used to be held just outside the WORT studios but in the more recent years it has moved to MLK Blvd., supposedly due to noise complaints from nearby houses.

This band below was fabulous. I only stayed for one band, but this hard driving Chicago blues is high on my list of what I like. This band was from Milwaukee. I believe they are called the Charles Walker Band.

I stayed around an hour. The crowd was fairly tight. I enjoyed the one band I listened to.
