There are some nice ice carvings at the top of State St. I am a few days late in getting this photo, but it has been cold enough that the ice figures are preserved.

I have seen the process of making these figures. Someone uses a chain saw on a block of ice, and somehow magically, comes up with these fabulous pieces of art. It’s a neat thing to watch. I have seen this done in previous years, but I missed the act of carving this year.
