State St. update – winter 2015

Here are a few recent photos of State Street. It is a constantly changing place and I summarize a few of the changes.

The “hands up” image is interesting. This is the construction tunnel to the left of the massive “Hub” project on lower State Street.

The photo below is a shot from State St. looking towards the university campus. This is a new view compared to previous years because the University Mall has been redone. It gives a much cleaner and more linear flow as your eye moves from State St. towards the campus. Bascom Hill is seen just to the left of the stop sign.

I just like the sky in this photo. If you look closely, you can see some new construction in the distance. Hopefully I’ll have more to say about that later.
