• 3/8/2013. For the last several months I have been working on improving this main page. The menu system is custom and uses Jquery and Javascript. It is Jquery that does the smooth animation (and it makes me look really good), but writing the accompanying Javascript, especially good Javascript, is still a challenge. I have been updating this main page sometimes several times daily and this will probably continue for a while. See this article for more discussion of Jquery.
• 1/26/2013. The stock market as a random walk. Can you tell the difference between smart money and a drunk on The Street?
