George Schils Archives
You might want to peruse some old web pages. These archives
are for historical purposes. Some interesting pieces of work
have appeared in the archives. Products, services, addresses,
etc. in these archives should not be used. Instead I should be
contacted. These archives are generally untouched from what
originally appeared on the given date.
These archives are not necessarily advertisements for services
and products mentioned may no longer exist. The company FEREGO
is mentioned. This was my consulting company which existed for
several years, and which no longer exists. Questions
pertaining to FEREGO can be directed to myself.
Archive Listing
A listing of some archives is given below. These archives are
"snapshots" of work that appeared on the date specified.
Generally there are no modifications or edits to these
archives, and errors can exist, and some facts may no longer
be correct or apply.
Archives that have some current modifications
Some items are updated and being updated in these archives.
Thus they are not true archives.
Archive highlights
Some items of interest from the archives are listed below.
-
Rabbit. Should
this be called the Grapes of Rats, Of Rats and
Rodentilla, Raven Golden Hare, or Goldie Locks
meets the Klondike Rabbit?
-
Digital Camelot.
How are the internet and Camelot alike?
-
Favorites
collection. Here you may find things you might not find
anywhere else.
-
Old links
collection. A lot of this stuff is vintage. Like wine, old
links can get better with age.
-
The Drunks on The
Street. This is a fictional commentary on the stock
market being viewed as a random walk stochastic process.
- This main page uses a
Java menu navigator. Clicking
on the left button produces a drop down menu from which many
interesting things can be selected. I am not involved in Java
development anymore and many of the services mentioned here
are now history. Another interesting
Java slide show
makes use of many fancy features. It displays slides, switches
to different web pages for each slide, and does many other
functions. This is ancient Java and I am surprised that so
much of this old stuff actually runs. Just sit back and watch
the show. This
kitchen sink
Java demo contains everything but the kitchen sink.
