This is the main page of a series of web pages that present a kind of mini-portal. Here a number of different kinds of links to various sources of information on the internet is collected and presented. These are opinions pages about things that I think are interesting, and things that hopefully you also will find interesting. In this sense it is an opinionated mini-portal site. I do not know whose opinions they are and opinions do not necessarily represent my opinions.

What is interesting is a matter of opinion. This page gives some things that I find to be interesting. Of course there is so much of interest on the web, and I can only present a very little bit. But I hope you find it fun and enjoyable.

It seems so vain to bring you a few trite items. It's only a few links. I wish there were a better way of organizing and presenting this material. (I am concerned about efficient presentation.)

I try to present links covering a variety of topics. I apologize for not being able to present very much, as the internet is so large. But I hope you do find the links presented to be either interesting, entertaining, or useful. One good link can go a long ways.

The items presented are a mixture of popular items with some academic-flavored links also mixed in. There are also collections of references, and in a sense not all of the material is a "favorite". Items therefore might be research items or academic items, or just favorites.

This set of web pages is dynamic. I am slowly but constantly working on adding new links. More links are usually added every few days to every few weeks.
