Permalink: Dying gasps of autumn
This short series of pics marks the end of another season. In the midwest the change of season is interesting and can add color and zest to an otherwise boring existence. These photos were taken on and near the State St. area.
This shot is an exercise in exposure.
These bushes blush brightly and then fade quickly. I walked by this a day later and the red luster was gone - vanished for another season.
Piles exist everywhere and are waiting to be hauled off as rubbish. The next two shots are actually off of State St.
