4.7 Smalltalk

Generally Smalltalk is regarded as the single best object oriented language in the same manner as lisp is regarded as the single "best" language. It was the first one. There are a number of dialects of Smalltalk.

Squeak (4) (5) smalltalk is a dialect of Smalltalk. It seems to have really "taken off" lately (as of Dec. 2008).
