The series of pictures below are of and on Bascom Hill on the University of Wisconsin Madison campus. These are mostly shots of the trees on the hill, and I have not captured here much of the beauty of the architecture of some of the magnificent buildings on Bascom Hill.
More annotations probably will be added to this page on some future date.
This is almost like the surreal land of Alice in Wonderland. The picture below strikes me as surreal and "fairy tale like". You can almost see the rabbits and bears hiding behind the trees. (The Van Vleck mathematics building is just over the top of Bascom Hill.) For your enjoyment of beauty, I have included a larger picture as well.

The photo below shows a statue of Abe looking down Bascom Hill. Abe looks lonely as he sits in front of the law school building looking down Bascom Hill towards the state capitol.
