FEREGO Daily Links Archives
This page is somewhat editorial in nature. There is no attempt to be thorough or unbiased in presenting links and associated discussion. This does not necessarily represent opinions of FEREGO. Our purpose here it to produce something interesting and stimulating. If you enjoy any of the links presented below then we have fulfilled our goal.
There are gaps in the record below. It is difficult to come up with high quality links every day. Items are dated when they first appear. The purpose is not to have a link every day, but rather to date any item that we find interesting.
Also some old links might be dead. We preserve them anyway for historical interest. Sometimes the links that are "missing" are most interesting than those which remain.

It's the last day of the year.
Financial. There's a zillion financial links. (We might collate more in some future article.) Wall $treet Week with FORTUNE PBS presents PBS coverage of many events, and many items covered are never seen on so called "commercial air." The title of this article on new world disorder is pretty catchy. The term world disorder is maybe better than "world order".

Years ago supposedly FEREGO had a high quality Java programmer who created this applet. It's always hard to figure out what to call this stuff and we had the fun of trying to come up with a name. We almost called this something like Space Crystals or Space Chill. Or maybe this is psychotically insane like Starry Night although we'd be lucky to make it in that league. I'll stick with "A snowy evening" and "he gives his harness bells a shake."

George Westinghouse did much pioneering work in railroads and electricity. Are there any analogies to today? The internet could be said to be a railroad carrying information goods, and the gods of the internet today are much like the railroad magnates of 70-100 years ago. Is there anything we can learn from history?

Bloggers are cool. They almost do all the work for you and all you have to do is type. They do the formatting and most bloggers also pay for the site, so it turns out to be completely free. The catch is that they use your content for their adds - fair enough maybe. This is the first blogger that I had been aware of. It is interesting to see how this is updated even every minute. There are numerous other bloggers on the web now.
