This is the first of a series of concerts held on the Madison, WI capitol square. This series of photos is for the event which occurred on Wednesday, June 27, 2007.
People are seen sitting on the lawn of the Wisconsin Capitol building.
It is around 7 p.m., and the sun is low.
A very sizeable crowd has gathered.
People brought lots of food, and elaborate settings were prepared.
Some of the old and new buildings on the Madison Square are seen in the background. People are gathered everywhere to listen to the concert.
The glass building on the left half of the picture is the US Bank building. They sponsored the event for this evening.
People are seen dining on a terrace of the US Bank building, and they are enjoying the concert while they are eating.
People are lined up on the sidewalks on the outside of the square.
